Why is visualize important?
Visualization is the ability to picture, in your mind, how a 3D part would look as a 2D orthographic projection and visa-versa.
Why do you need to learn how to visualize when your 3D CAD program automatically creates a 2D orthographic projection for you?
- So that you can inspect the drawing and determine whether it is technically correct.
- Be able to translate a part print into a solid model.
