Universal Gravitation

 

A gravitational force of attraction exists between every pair of bodies. This force depends on

• the bodies' masses (m_A, m_B),
• the distance between the bodies (d ), and
• the gravitational constant (G = 6.67 x 10^-11 N-m²/kg²)

Each pair of bodies exert exert equal and opposite forces on one another.
